Application Support : Uploading MDF Files in iShipper Production

This document details the procedure for uploading Royal Mail MDF master data files into the iShipper production system.

File Verification

Verify the latest file name received in Coachdrop is available in iPortal.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Coachdrop, navigate to the Prodrmg folder, and check the latest MDF version.

  1. Log in to iPortal, go to Master Data File Approval, view the new version date, and click Select Site next to it.

    After clicking “Select Sites,” you will see a list of sites as shown below.

  3. Upload in batches of 10, 20, or 25 sites.

  4. Verify the “RoyalMailMasterData.CommitApprovedFiles” job runs on server 10.251.7.4.

  1. After selecting the batch, track it under Approved File History.

  2. All 9 file statuses are available; check each file's status in each system.

    If any file has an error, it appears under Errored Sites with an option to retry.

  4. Check nlogs in the database to identify failure reasons and raise a live ticket.
