Set up Amazon off Account - Amazon Integration Sapient

Add new Amazon shipping account for ‘Off Amazon’ shipments 

Before starting: You’ll need to be setup on the Intersoft test account for Amazon. Please message Weronika to get an Amazon Shipping account set up for you

Once Set up, you will get an email from amazon accept the invitation

Then create an amazon account, it will ask for Phone number, please include a genuine number as it will send a code for 2FA.

 Once an account has been created go back to Sapient.

  1. In Sapient, enter shipping account details as with other carriers. For testing purposes select ‘Off Amazon’ under ‘Amazon Account Type’ as the test account only works with this account type.

  1. Choose ‘Connect Now’ from the popup dialog after adding the account. If you don’t do this the account will be created but in status ‘Pending’

  1. Enter your Intersoft email address (the one you received the Amazon invite to)

  1. Enter your password and proceed through the Amazon 2FA steps. Include a genuine number for 2FA as it will ask you for a code.

  1. Once logged in to Amazon, you should see an overlay stating ‘Authorize Intersoft Test’. Select the checkbox and click ‘Authorize’

  1. You’ll see ‘App Authorized Successfully’

  1. Close the Amazon window and you’ll see ‘Account Enabled’ and ‘Amazon shipping connection status: Success’ under the carrier details section. You can now use the shipping account to create shipment the same as for other carriers using the ‘Off Amazon’ API examples.
