Drip Feed
It used to be that we created type3's after the customer has created a Manifest (Closeout). Then this 'Drip Feed' was introduced so that we drip feed RM data on a regular basis to stop the build up of data on the bigger customers. And To help Royal Mail operations by sending the type-3 throughout the day rather than sending all type-3 data at once causing bottlenecks.
As per Drip feed logic, a Royal Mail Domestic Tracked shipment is added to the Type3Holding table once the shipment is created
As per Drip feed logic, the local server time does Daily Sweep 1 become eligible to run at: 15:00
As per Drip feed logic, the amount of un-exported shipments must a Shipping Account + Shipping Location combination have for Daily Sweep 1 to generate Type 3 pre-advice files is: 50 un-exported shipments
As per Drip feed logic, what happens to a Royal Mail Tracked shipment that is manifested after its Type 3 pre-advice data has already been sent to Royal Mail? It is manifested successfully and not included in any further Type 3 files
As per Drip feed logic, if a Royal Mail Tracked shipment is manifested and its Type 3 pre-advice data has NOT been sent to Royal Mail, what happens? - It is manifested and remains in the Type3Holding table until picked up by a scan or sweep

As per Drip feed logic, what is the process for Royal Mail Untracked shipments when they are manifested? - They are added to Type3Holding, Type 3 pre-advice and OBA data are sent as per existing functionality
If a Shipping account has been excluded from drip feed, Type3s will not be generated for all shipments created by that account - false
Shipping Account drip feed exclusion can be done by an admin user via GUI - False; DevOps task is needed
