How To: Create a Sandbox User

This is a guide on creating a Sandbox user on https://test.intelligentshipper.net/ 

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to Sandbox.
  2. Access the Maintenance tab and select 'Customers'.
  3. Click on 'Add Customer' in the top-right of the screen.

    4. Fill in the details provided for the customer:

Ensure that:

  • Transfer Type = Transfers to Invoice File
  • Remote Client = Not Remote
  • Status = Active

5. Add a contact for the customer:

6. Add API details if they are going to be an API integration:

Assign credentials of your choice to the customer.

Web user ID can be set to the Customer's name.

7. On the Services tab, click on 'Add Service' and select all available services:

8. If they are going to be using Manual Booking (Booking Wizard) and Upload via CSV file (Bulk Mailing) they will need access to the UI. Under the users tab, create a user for the customer:

I would recommend adding users after the required email has been sent to the customer informing them of their Sandbox onboarding. This is to ensure there is no confusion for the customer - as creating a user will automatically send an email to them asking for them to set a password.


9. For Sandbox, the Royal Mail Account tab will be left blank.

10. Send an email to the customer informing them of their Sandbox onboarding, CC in Weronika and Steve Sneath, templates can be found below:
